Support

Outing Caddie is built and supported by Little Dove Dev LLC. Email support@outingcaddie.app and a human will get back to you. We aim to reply within one business day, and within 24 hours for reports of abusive or objectionable content.

Reporting objectionable content or an abusive player

Outing Caddie has zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior. GIF search is restricted to the “G” content rating, and current app versions screen outgoing messages for objectionable language before they are posted. If something gets through:

Deleting your account

In the app, go to Profile → Delete Account and confirm. This permanently deletes your player profile, every score you entered, your profile photo, and the account itself. It cannot be undone. As the Privacy Policy explains, chat messages you already posted and results already archived from a closed outing are not removed by this — email us if you need those taken down too. If you cannot reach the app, email support@outingcaddie.app from the address on the account and we will delete it for you.

Common questions

How do I join an outing?

Ask the organizer for the six-character join code, then choose Join outing after you create your account and enter it. You need to be in an outing before the leaderboard, scorecard and chat have anything to show.

How do I start an outing?

Choose Organize an outing after signing up. You pick the course, the dates, and the format; the app gives you a join code to share. Whoever creates the outing is its organizer. Organizers and administrators are the only people who can change an outing’s setup, build foursomes, or set tee times.

My scores aren’t showing up for everyone else.

Scores sync over the network as they are entered. If a phone was out of signal, its scores upload when it reconnects. Check that everyone is in the same outing — a player who created their own outing instead of joining yours will have their own separate leaderboard.

Why does the app ask me to sign in?

Every screen shows data belonging to a specific outing, so there is no signed-out mode. Your email is used as your sign-in identity and for password resets. You can also use Sign in with Apple, including Hide My Email.

Do I need Apple Intelligence?

No. On iPhone, the optional AI pairing suggestions run on-device using Apple Intelligence where it is available; on a device without it, that screen shows an unavailable state and the organizer builds foursomes by hand or uses the app’s standard pairing optimizer. No other feature depends on it.

What does the app collect about me?

Your name, email, handicap and tee, the scores you enter, and what you post in chat — most of which other players in your outing can see, because that is the point of a shared leaderboard. The apps carry no advertising and never sell your information. The full detail, including which analytics and crash-reporting services each platform uses, is in the Privacy Policy.

Anything else

Email support@outingcaddie.app. Telling us your device, its operating-system version, and the outing’s join code makes it much faster to work out what happened.
